This page explains what happens to your information when you visit forzadigitalconsulting.com or contact us through it. It describes what we actually do, not what a template says we might do.

Who we are

Forza Digital Consulting, a digital marketing consultancy serving Chicagoland and clients nationally. You can reach us at info@forzadigitalconsulting.com.

What you give us

The site has one contact form. It asks for four things:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Which service you’re interested in
  • A message

All four are required. How much you tell us in the message is up to you.

When you submit the form, it also sends along four technical details you don’t type: the page you submitted from, the page title, an internal page ID, and the address of the site or search that sent you to us. That last one tells us where our inquiries come from. We’re mentioning it because you didn’t type it and you can’t see it.

What happens to it

Form submissions go to one place: an email inbox at info@forzadigitalconsulting.com. They are not copied into a customer database, a sales tool, or an automation platform. They sit in email.

We keep them for 120 days and then delete them. If you’d like yours removed sooner, email info@forzadigitalconsulting.com and we’ll take care of it.

Submissions pass through an automated spam filter operated by Automattic before reaching us.

We don’t sell what you send us, and we don’t pass your name, email or message to anyone else. We won’t add you to a mailing list, because we don’t have one.

What we measure automatically

Like most websites, this one records some information about visits without asking you for it.

Google Analytics. We use it to see which pages get read and how people move through the site. It records page views, approximate location from your IP address, and what browser and device you’re using. Google holds this data for 14 months and then deletes it.

When you send the contact form, Analytics records that a form was submitted and which service you picked from the dropdown. It does not record your name, your email address, or the message you wrote.

We also have a Google setting called Signals switched on. If you’re signed in to a Google account and have ads personalization enabled there, Google can connect your visit to that account. That lets us see general information about our visitors as a group, such as age range and interests, and it lets Google use the visit within its own advertising systems under its terms. You can change this from your Google account’s ad settings, which controls it across every site that uses the feature, not just ours.

Jetpack Stats and performance monitoring. Our hosting provider, Automattic, records page views and site speed information.

Fonts. The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. That means Google receives your IP address when a page loads, as a side effect of serving the font files.

Beyond that Google setting, we don’t run advertising or retargeting tools of our own. There is no Google Ads tag, no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn tracking, and no session recording on this site, and we are not running retargeting campaigns.

We do have a Google Ads account connected to our Analytics, but no ads are running from it, and we have switched off the setting that would share Analytics audience data with it.

Who else sees your data

Two companies, because of the tools above:

  • Google, through Analytics and Fonts
  • Automattic, which hosts the site, provides Jetpack, and runs the spam filter

Both handle the data under their own privacy terms. We don’t send your information to anyone else.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Jetpack set cookies in your browser to recognize repeat visits. We do not currently show a cookie banner, which means these load when you arrive rather than after you agree. We’re telling you that plainly rather than leaving you to work it out.

If you’d rather not be measured, most browsers let you block or clear cookies, and Google offers an opt-out extension for Analytics.

What you can ask us to do

Email info@forzadigitalconsulting.com and we will:

  • Tell you what we hold about you
  • Delete it
  • Correct it if it’s wrong

No form to fill in, no process. Just ask.

Children

This site is aimed at business owners. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we start using a new tool that collects information, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we’ll say what changed rather than quietly editing.
